Read the Signs
Lifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney would like to invite you to our FREE ‘Read the Signs’ training for men.
The ‘Read the Signs’ training aims to raise men’s awareness on stress and depression, suicide prevention, help seeking, self-care, and how to help mates who may be struggling.
I ask if you would be able to share this with your team mates and share with any men that may be interested.
In Australia, 3 out of every 4 suicides are by men. Not only is there a need for greater understanding of factors influencing male suicide but, if it is to be adequately addressed, all of us must become part of the solution- watchful and preventative ‘eyes and ears’ in our communities.
Sessions are delivered virtually. Check availability and register through Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/o/lifeline-macarthur-15983111049
We are also able to provide either face to face (Available in 2021) or virtual sessions exclusive to your work place, if you would like to organise a specific training for your workplace, please send an enquiry to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 4645 7201
Please keep in mind that this training is for people who identify as male, 15 years or over and live, work, or study in the South Western Sydney area.
